| Mother Teresa taught at St.Mary’s High School for 18 years in Calcutta. During the time when Mother Teresa was working as a nun, 10 women came to her and asked if they could work for her. In 1948 she left the other nuns that worked with her in Calcutta and studied health care. In 1952, when she stopped working in Calcutta for the poor, she created a home for the dying destitute. Not too long after that, she opened an orphanage. |
